Divide and Conquer?
With McCain claiming to be the frontrunner along with all of the press, it is apparent that the liberal media and the Democratic party is using the tactic of "Divide and Conquer". By supporting a wannabe Republican such as McCain, the press can insure a Democratic victory in November. Now you will hear the talking heads claim that McCains' appeal is his ability to attract independents, which supposedly would allow him to beat Clinton or Obama. But independents don't usually win elections. When was the last time an independent was President? The dirty trick is to divide the conservative base, force them to vote for a bleeding liberal, or vote for a guy who decided to take take away your first amendment rights, provide amnesty for millions of illegal immigrants and fillibuster on conservative judges. The Conservative base is much larger than independents and that is why the press wants to divide the vote. In fact, if McCain wins Florida and carries that momentum into "Super Tuesday", conservatives will go to the polls, but they won't vote for McCain for president, instead they will vote for more conservative Congressmen and Senators to balance the equation.
